J.W. Anderson
Martin the Tailor
This short film recommended by szeto is about the daily life of Martin the Tailor. With absolutely beautiful cinematography done by Ed David, the film describes Martin's journey from Nazi camp to celebrity tailor of Bill Clinton and the like. Martin the Tailor shows the work conditions and behind the scenes of what makes beautiful clothing. Click here to watch the film.

Fantastic Fashion Film
About the first ever CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) awards which occurred in 2004, Seamless goes behind the scenes to show the lives of the designers and all the work involved in creating a label. This film caused me to value the work of designers so much more by demonstrating the amount of effort, late hours, and the stamina involved in creating a line. The most impressive by far was Doo Ri. By creating the line in her basement entirely on her own she demonstrates incredible potential and eventually went on to win the CFDA award in later years. Seamless features brilliant designers and clothes and is a film which I would definitely recommend.

Egon Schiele
"Austrian Egon Schiele conveys physical and psychological torment. In numerous drawings and watercolours, Schiele represents women in sexually explicit poses that emphasize the animal nature of the human body, and his self-portraits reveal deep ambivalence toward the sexual content of both his art and his life. In Self-Portrait Nude, the artist stares at the viewer with an anguished expression, his emaciated body stretched into an uncomfortable pose. The image of insanity."
